Grounds & Activities

  • Archery: An old school straw target, and some simple bows.
  • Hatchet Throwing: Wear leather gloves so you don’t get splinters. We warned you.
  • Tennis: A beat up old concrete court. Wooden rackets supplied. Bring your own balls! Yeah, we said it.
  • Basketball: A concrete half court and a wooden backboard, nothing fancy.
  • Volleyball: A simple grass, unmarked court.
  • Shuffleboard: An old concrete court & all retro gear.
  • Horseshoes: A small sand pit, just the basics.
  • Bicycles: A fleet of vintage rides (tire pump provided, you’ll need it.)
  • Boating: A handful of vintage v-hull aluminum boats, oars, lifejackets.
  • Fishing: Some old cane rods provided, and random fishing equipment. BYOB. (bait)
  • Canoeing: A fully stocked canoe rack of old school vessels.
  • Hiking: 20+ acres of trails wind through our backwoods. Bring your boots.
  • Beach: We have a private lakefront with two piers, one for fishing, one for swimming.
  • Bonfires: A great reason to come to camp; a huge, classic bonfire pit with log benches like you remember from camp that we light for full camp rentals. We also have smaller campfire spaces that guests can use as well.
  • The Sports Equipment Room: Stocked with just about every imaginable variety of vintage sporting equipment. Help yourself.
  • Counselor Led Programming: While the above are “self-guided” activities, we can also help those seeking a more curated experience. Click here to learn more.

  • Game Room: Located in the lodge and stocked with everything from poker to jigsaw puzzles. Check out a game to take back to your cabin or play it in here.
  • Wardrobe Department: For those of us who remember the scene in Dirty Dancing where the resort staff bring wigs, costumes for cocktail-fueled dress-up afternoons… We’ve started with mostly vintage mixed with some custom masks, some of our fav Moonrise characters, historic characters and a menagerie of woodland creatures.
