everyone forgets about things like this.

they get locked away, forgotten, or more often than not- tossed out altogether.

so when i find family heirloom recipes books, i try to save them at all costs.

while cleaning out my late grandmother’s house, we found a treasure trove of old family photos, recipes, and journals like these. 

always with portable scanner on hand, i got some great archival copies.

also pictured are my aunt and uncle. (love these photos, they are so handsome!)
