why is it that everything looks so much more idyllic onscreen?

clean kids.
spotless couch.
model wife.
perfectly art-directed life.

much to our dismay, there’s not a hint of that in our reality 🙂

we were watching the tube and saw a stack of suitcases that looked oddly familiar. then a house that looked looked sorta familiar, too–. (and then after a second cup of coffee realized that the hot blonde in the commercial was actually sitting in our livingroom.)
