We’ve never had a president pay us a visit. Not a single dignitary, movie Starlet or famed poet. But in 1949, we did have a little boy named Jerry. This shot was the day his dad would teach him how to command a rowboat. Jerry came back for the first time in 64 yrs to revisit his childhood & bring us this photo. It turned out to be one of many, documenting one boy’s summers at a little wisconsin resort called “Won-Dah-Wee-Gah”. He left us with sage advice: ‘Don’t underestimate the little experiences, because the most ordinary moments are the very ones that mold us into who we will become”.
