They’re heeeeeeere! (finally). The Camp tourism bible.

It’s taken us 12 years to pull this together. So we’re so happy to finally be able to share them!

It’s something we are asked over and over when folks visit. Where do I go to eat / play / get beer / see the sights…..??? So we pulled together our favorites & then tapped illustrator/designer Jonathan Yurek to illustrate a custom map of some of the sights worth seeing in our immediate vicinity.

It started with a Wisconsin Tourism brochure from the 1950’s. A cheap little pamphlet, just 2 colors, the type of disposable thing you would find at a roadside tourist stop. In its humble simplicity, it was the perfect design for our 1/8th of a star accomodations. So instead of trying to recreate a fake version of it, we just ripped it off (the cover design) entirely (much respect to the anonymous designer who originally made it a half a century ago!).

So, dear friends, whoever pays us a visit this upcoming season (and every season thereafter) is going to have one of these waiting for them on their bed.
