In 1963 Beaver company (out of Canada) introduced the Machine-O-Matic- built of aluminum and zinc casting.
So after finding out that they still make them, we ordered one in hunter green.
Then customized the ‘acorns’ (1 in capsules) by painting their caps green to match.
Then sourced the 12 things that would fit inside- that we’d be willing to pay a buck each for.
- HAND-TIED FLY FISHING LURE
- MINITURE SET OF DICE
- PEWTER BINOCULARS
- DIE CAST WISCONSIN LAPEL PIN
- MIRACLE FISH GAME
- THE CAMP BADGE STICKER
- MINIATURE LEATHER 20-PAGE BLANK JOURNAL
- CAMP W TATTOO
- VINTAGE SMOKEY THE BEAR COLLECTIBLE STAMP
- TINY WORKING ALUMINUM COMPASS
- HAND PAINTED RACCOON FIGURINE
- TOY TURTLE
Charlie insisted on inspecting each item that went into a capsule. She’s working quality control while filling her pockets.
the GOODS. sourced via a mix of new old stock, custom made & souvenir joints that still make this stuff…
