ITS HERE! Four years ago I embarked on creating a children's book dedicated to some very special people: Charlie & My Dad, and the very dear friends who built a treehouse out of sheer generosity of spirit. @RandomHouse @CrownBooks just sent the printers proofs for final edit and I can't wait to read it to Charlie. (So she learns about the grandpa she will never get to meet. So she'll get to know what inspiration and community means. So when she has her kids, she can read them the story about her childhood treehouse (which by then may be long gone).
