THE WANDAWEGA HILLHOUSE: Rejuvenation in the house!

We are so thrilled to have had the opportunity to partner with REJUVENATION on the WANDAWEGAHILLHOUSE!:

#sponsored #rejuvenation_partner // They are a dream collaborator, we had so much fun hosting a flea market to celebrate the launch of the NEW CHICAGO STORE – if you have not been there yet, prepare to get a coffee and get lost in discovery for at least two hours. Not kidding. The space is addictively curated with their new products mixed in with vintage wares.
The reason we were so elated to get the call from these folks is because of their history. Their roots are firmly planted in the home, with respect to antique & vintage detailing.
They got their start back in 1977 as an architectural salvage shop in a former saloon in North Portland. Jim Kelly began the business with $1,000 and an interest in architectural salvage. When business was slow, Kelly rebuilt vintage light fixtures. Today, they make American-crafted and heritage-inspired lighting, hardware, furniture and home accessories.
We put the house together ourselves, but they also have a great service that our friends have used called ‘Design Crew’ that is free – they help “style-install-design-create.”

HERE ARE A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS FROM THEM:
(more to come soon!)
Task floor lamps for the guest bedroom
Wall switches (the cool ‘push button style’ that we love!)
Exterior lighting ‘Carson’ (for entrance lighting)
Kitchen ceiling lighting – Carson cord pendant in honey yellow
Above the sink, Imbrie articulating wall scones in black
Adrian bathroom wall sconces
A velvet couch for the kitchen! In ‘peridot green’
Arcadia Adirondack chairs on the deck
Kitchen ‘saddle stools’ in black
Kitchen pull handles (leather with brass grommets- swoon)

We are just now opening The Wandawega Hillhouse to start hosting folks – so stay tuned for more photos and films. Until then, check out the latest ‘winter weekend’ video shot here  by ETHOS Films out of Beloit, Wisco. And check out the photography of Nick S.
