The struggle of running a small business in the country is real (zero glamour in shoveling a field of muddy ruts this past week after transplanting three 18ft oak trees) ..Thank you to @ruralrevivalco for having us on your podcast to talk about the ugly backside of all that Instagram hides so well. (Like this 1st awkward family photo- anybody who knows us will tell you that its not even close to the reality around here)We are admittedly partial to rural businesses (having grown up in a farm town of 4K) but we love that the folks at Rural Revival really do support small towns and the mom-and-pops that are carving out their dreams in them.We love to see a farmstand grow to then travel to urban farmers markets and then end up getting national distribution.Or the woodworker who earns a global audience out of his barn in the country – because hes that good. The lady selling antiques out of a booth at the flea market opening a storefront – and then two..The couple that opens up a retro RV park in the middle of nowhere, that draws people from everywhere. ..#- its made us appreciate the power of passion, and that smaller towns cant hold back bigger dreams. .(Looking at you, sis! @crowebootandshoeco ) .(Episode link on todays profile line) And https://tinyurl.com/sdlwjys
