I can’t stop looking at these and smiling.Animals are the best and the husband and wife duo (Sharon + Spencer) have made a living photographing these cuddly, cute and stoic animals. What a great idea and what beautiful photography that can fit in any room setting. David gets mad when I call it an “airstream”

Because it’s really a “canned ham” style trailer, not an Airstream, but who cares? Shes still cute. and saying “1957 Friendship brand canned-ham-style travel trailer’ is a helluvalot more work that just saying “airstream.” Y’all might remember the camper trailer we picked up last fall? Forgotten Chicago- Snappy Service Station restaurant.

     I drive by this everyday.A few weeks ago we noticed that the facade had been stripped, revealing a gorgeous 1930’s enamel- tiled original front.And a beaming sign that readsSNAPPY SERVICE SYSTEM5¢.A little google digging reveals:Forgotten Chicago research department went to the Newberry Library to go through Chicago white and yellow pages from 1925 to 1959, looking for “Snappy Service System” restaurant locations. I just came across Xenia Taler, a very talented artist. What made me stop, were these different tiles that fit so much into the spirit of Camp. How do you get a thousand likes for an iphone shot of a butcher block? by being nathan michael. check out his feed and his tumblr and his blog and his tweets and his facebook page He arrived at the house at 10 am. By the time he left at 1pm, he had 1500 more followers on his feed. (His work is so beautiful that Instagram put him on their suggestion list).
