“Camp” & “Culinary” are not two words that are known to go together. But we’re proud to have hosted some amazing food events, workshops and chefs in our humble little kitchen. This is a diary of our culinary adventures, from food feature stories to product collabs and more. We can’t cook to save our lives, so thank heaven for friends who can.
We brought Wisconsin to Chicago. By partnering with our friends at Land & Sea Dept. we turned the Soho House Tavern restaurant into an old school supper club – reminiscent of the restaurant that was here from 1949 to 1961.
Kinfolk came around the campfire for a two-day fall getaway. The days were filled with inspiring individuals, delicious delicacies, great hangs and positive vibes. It’s great to see that Kinfolk got to enjoy our neck of the woods. Go ahead and watch the film recap and read the story.
For 90 years, the folks who toiled in the Wandawega kitchens relied on local farmers, markets, growers, and butchers to stock the pantry and keep friends and family coming back for seconds. In honor of that tradition, we have created the Wandawega Provisions collection.
Coffee and whiskey are definitely essential when it comes to camp. We wouldn't be able to stay awake if it wasn't for our friendly coffee collaborators including Heritage, Gaslight, Intelligentsia and Kickapoo. And bonfires wouldn't be the same without Basil Hayden's.

It’s a skill based weekend and they may be skills you want to introduce into your own daily life, or it may just be the experience you’re after. Coming August 2014.
YUM Universe comes to camp and cooks up a storm, as part of our annual Art Camp.
In the old days they called ’em “corporate retreats” but to us that just sounds too “corporate.” Let’s just say that folks come here to “reconnect by disconnecting.” Firms like Studio Gang Architects, Facebook/Instagram Creative Shop, Centro, Anthropologie, Trek, and Threadless know there’s nothing like the simple pleasures of simpler times to get the juices flowing. Speaking of which, the coffee flows like wine. And the wine flows like wine, too.
World-renowned architecture firm Studio Gang journeyed to camp with their international staff of architects. They created makeshift structures of foraged materials from the woods, then lit them on fire. Pretty cool, huh?
When it came time for Solemn Oath Brewery to breathe life into their nascent Sover Project, they secreted themselves away at Camp W for several days of intensive concepting, sketching, designing and occasional merrymaking.
