Stop No.4 on the #WandawegaTour: The Sterlingworth Cabin // we found her on the side of the road & moved her to this spot on a fork truck & a prayer.... gutted it- replaced her roof, floors, added a skylight & set it up as a convertible painters/writers studio /// Originally, she was one of a little string of tiny lakeside sleeping cabins as part of the once-epic circa 1901 Sterlingworth Hotel (that sat on Lauderdale lake next to wandawega) After the hotel burned down - all the cabins were demolished except for this one... a neighbor moved it to her backyard to become a garden shed.... where we found it fifty+ years later
