WHAT I DID AT BIRTHDAY CAMP….

BIRTHDAY CAMP this past weekend was the bday of our comrade SHAUN OWENS AGASE (of Stoneblitzer) he brought a crew of pals to help celebrate- we met some of the nicest folks ever! CAMP ACTIVITIES INCLUDED: shotskis brimming with makers babies rolling in the grass. (adult) kids launching themselves on lake swings. smores on a campfire. bluegills on the hook. canoeing in the morning. yardsale road trip!!! a perfectly low-key camp weekend. the highlight: dinner prepped at our fav place, LONGMAN & EAGLE, and finished off on the smoker. (shaun, please have your birthday party every year at Wanda.)

GARDEN PARTY

A few weekends ago COME FLEA WITH ME & BRIMFIELD  teamed up with WANDWEGA to bring a busload of folks to spend the night at camp,  and head to the flea market the next morning. We whipped up a fab meal, did crafts, drank of course, and chilled. thanks to: william golden (for the fab drinks & hosting skills) william sherman (for the amazing dishes & jovial self) patrick mcguire (for the great food) lisa clark (for the amazing food & overall support) matt gore (for the photos)

a selection of local wisconsin favorites- set up in the dining room at camp wandawega last weekend for a visiting group of 20. nothing says ‘welcome to the dairyland’ like a big fat cheese curd, ya’ll! there once was a dinner party held in the treetops….

the fabulous Julia Stotz and her partner / boyfriend / equally fabulous photographer Brian Guido shot a really nice little story last Saturday afternoon. it rained.Frankie ate the props.the gear hauler (our 4wheeler) got a flat.but otherwise, a pretty successful little soiree 🙂 and then we actually had enough food left over to eat,which is a bonus. some behind the scenes shots:
